Bought to replace the original, no aesthetic differences are noted between the two. The only differences with an original is that the silicone of this cover has a little less grip (better to put it in your trousers pocket) and the MagSafe is a little less strong but it has never caused me problems with magnetic accessories. It’s worth the expense.
